I posted in BF forum, but haven't had a response. Does the pain of let down ever stop? It's not horrible, bit extremely uncomfortable for about 3 minutes. I EP.
I still get mine too. I'm pretty sure a good let down will always be a bit painful. But I try to look at the bright side. That pain lets me know my body is still able to produce for my baby. It's worth the pain.
I had it bad in the beginning but it did stop for me. I also realized a lot of the initial pain was also nipple soreness and once I started using a prescribed compound ointment all the pain went away! Hope it gets better for you as well!
Baylor is 10 weeks and I still feel it. I like the feeling though because it lets me know when I'm about to spray milk and allows me to move baby so he doesn't choke. I h ave an insanely strong let down
