Let down

I posted in BF forum, but haven't had a response. Does the pain of let down ever stop? It's not horrible, bit extremely uncomfortable for about 3 minutes. I EP.

I still get mine too. I'm pretty sure a good let down will always be a bit painful. But I try to look at the bright side. That pain lets me know my body is still able to produce for my baby. It's worth the pain.

I had it bad in the beginning but it did stop for me. I also realized a lot of the initial pain was also nipple soreness and once I started using a prescribed compound ointment all the pain went away! Hope it gets better for you as well!

Thanks guys! It's not so painful I'm complaining, just wanted to know if I should rush to doctor or if others feel it too. Thanks!

Try a compound nipple ointment like APNO - you'll need a prescription for it. It may clear up whatever is causing your pain.

Sometimes I feel it. Sometimes I don't. But when I do, it is uncomfortable. From what I've read it's completely normal.

Yep, still uncomfortable at times here.  DS is 13 weeks.

Baylor is 10 weeks and I still feel it. I like the feeling though because it lets me know when I'm about to spray milk and allows me to move baby so he doesn't choke. I h

Mine eventually went away with older DS. I don't remember when though... I too still have it too at 13 weeks.
