Clear mucous spit up

My DD's spit up sometimes looks more clear- mucous like. Does that indicate anything. I feel like the pedi or a nurse mentioned something about it at one point but I forget.

    When I was nannying for a family a while back their infant had the same thing and it ended up being reflux. It could be something else I imagine but that's my experience with it.

    DS2 has reflux and has clear spit up hours after eating.  He opens his mouth and it just runs out.  He's on Zantac and it doesn't bother him.
