My dh and I are in between insurances. Just wondering if there is one in particular that will cover re

  • Insurance companies will offer different packages in different states where they operate to conform to state law. If you are looking at working with an RE soon, I would call their office and ask about what insurances and packages they have worked with have good coverage. You also might get good info by checking the member information from HR for the different choices available through your workplaces.

  • Hi @Ellam25, DH and I are in the same boat right now trying to find the best insurance so we have to pay as little as possible out of pocket.  Like BunnyBerry said, there are a lot of factors that go into choosing an insurance carrier.  

    One resource I found to help me with my search was Resolve's Questions to Ask Series.  They have a couple for insurance carrier ones, including one titled "When choosing an insurance policy".  I narrowed down our plans that looked like they'd offer at least some coverage and called around with this questionnaire.  The insurance companies didn't seem putoff when answering my questions and even sending me backup documentation when necessary.
