It's CPW! Do you lease or finance your car? Or is it all paid off?

We have paid off MH's car. I have vowed only one car payment at a time. Mine has 4 years left to be paid off

Mine and DH is payed off....but as soon as we finish paying off DH student loans, I'm getting myself a new car!

SS Mine was financed but I paid it off in college. We bought DH's brand new in January and financed it.

@LDubHawksFan‌ that is my goal to be able to buy like that. I think it will take having to pay off student loans to do it though.

We financed my car and it has two years left on it. We are doing our best to try and pay it off before MH needs a new one.

I work for a car company actually and we have an employee lease deal that is an all encompassing lease that includes insurance, maintenance, and taxes... It's only a one year lease though so that we get to try new cars out every year... So I chose SS because it's not really a normal consumer lease.

We just got rid of my 1997 Honda last year and I was heartbroken! Gonna be a good five years before the new ride is paid off. Wahhhh.

We a truck that is paid off and a Subaru Outback that we just purchased last September that is not. 
We traded our Ford Fiesta in, which was about to paid off, because we needed a bigger vehicle.

Both of our cars are paid off. Mh is looking to buy a new one which will be partly financed. I want a new one too but will wait a couple of years.

Financed. My car is only six months old and I absolutely love her (yes, my car is a her.) After being burned by a number of used cars, I refuse to buy used anymore. We just plan to drive them as long as they can be driven and we put as much down as we can. We got a really good deal.

bought the car from my car for the cost of shipping it to Indiana from Hawaii when I was in college (they were moving to a place that needed 4WD and my car can't do that). DH's is from his parents (he paid for the new engine). and our work horse we bought outright used from a guy who was selling it for dirt cheap.

I got a new car when I started graduate school. I had pretty much decided which car I wanted.  It was cheaper for me to lease the car at the lower interest rate, and then finance the car after I had some of it paid down. It gave me time to save up more money and I would have a real job.  So we have done that with one car, so its now financed.  We'll outright buy the other car when the lease is up next summer.

We have my car paid off and DH's truck has another few years before its paid off, but we got a good deal on it and he loves it so I don't mind the car payment so much.

SS - we own both ours outright. DH financed his, but I never financed mine. I want to know what kind of tractor you have @kcrkcs.

We only have one car right now. It's mine and paid off. SOs car was stolen in May and we've been sharing mine ever since. It's working for us so far with no concrete plans on getting a second car just yet.

Never a car payment again!!! I can't stand them!! Paid cash for the last two!! I'd rather wait and save up the money.

DH's 1999 Nissan Maxima that was his first car is still running true with over 250k miles on it. He purchased it from his parents, and they never got the title switched over so legally it's still his parents' car. 

After DH bent the frame of my Maxima, I insisted on a newer used car and got an 06 Civic. We financed it and got it paid off in about a year. We weren't as smart shoppers as we should have been because the engine is knocking and will have to be replaced sooner or later.

I bought my car all cash. I just have this "no loans except mortgage" policy since I paid off my college loans, so I bought an inexpensive car (but the one I wanted to have) when I had saved enough, and I can't be happier with it. Same with DH's car.

I'm still paying on my car note.

I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I will always have a car note. I like having a new car, so I don't mind.

I don't do old cars... I drive entirely too much, too far, and alone to have an old car.
