BFP (maybe?)

Okay,

So I began POAS on 11dpo (Monday) and all the tests, I've "seen" a line but its sooooooo faint that I thought I was making it up. Yesterday afternoon I went and got a frer and there was DEFINITELY a line (trust me, I was looking up down sideways, in the light and the dark) So of course I am super excited right??? I got up this morning and took another frer using FMU and the line was so faint it was barely there. Is this a bad sign? Both the test yesterday afternoon and this morning came from the same box.

I want to be over the moon excited but Im so scared that one test was a fluke. Blood test in the morning, not gonna test anymore until then cause I feel like I'm on a giant scary/thrilling rollercoaster.

Re: BFP (maybe?)

  • @JGY The blood test is tomorrow morning. I thought that the FMU was supposed to be the best sample to use but I've gotten the darker result taking the test in the afternoon. Hopefully the blood tests confrim the positive.

  • Good luck! I hope the blood test confirms a BFP!
  • I agree - a line is a fantastic sign! Fingers crossed for a great beta. :)

  • Sounds like you've found the grail.

When we were researching, we read that first pee of the day works best. This may actually explain why we had a negative one day and a positive the next (I don't remember but A tells me I got up to pee a couple hours before) The reason they say to use FMU is, in the early days, you still only have small amounts of hCG in your system therefore need to use more concentrated urine to have a good chance of finding enough hCG to give you that magic line.  In any case, you have a more accurate result if you haven't peed in four consecutive hours and have had a normal intake of fluid (too much can dilute your urine)

Fingers crossed you get the results you're hoping for :)>-
