Planning a Home Birth

Are there any other October moms out there who are planning a home birth, or who have had one before? This is my first baby, so everything is new and a bit scary.

I'm not anxious because of choosing home birth...I'm just anxious in general about giving birth. I guess I was hoping that the response would be more along the lines of 'this was my experience', as opposed to being directed to another discussion group. I should have posed the question differently.
