I don't know why but I am really excited it is October. It is going to be a busy month for me.

DHs cousins will be in town Saturday. I have a party Sunday. My BFFs baby shower is the weekend after. Then the weekend after that is mine and DHs 2 year anniversary. The weekend after FIl has a Halloween party! And in between I will be working and trying to move!

If you call out of work  more than twice a month please don't complain when you have to work a Saturday. I will roll my eyes at you extra hard.

I need October to be over already normally I don't want time to pass so fast but this month is going to be hellacious.

I have a hair appt on Friday and I have never looked so forward to anything in my entire life.

Apparently when LuvFood was on my okcupid account the other night, he changed my profile and my responses to several questions. He said matches should message me if they "want a serious relationship and are ready to raise my children and pay my bills."

I'm humiliated. I asked a mod to delete my account.

Hi ladies. I've been Mia for a few days, sorry. Had my first work trip which meant first overnight from Adrian. Which turned into two nights when I missed my connection last night and got stuck in Philadelphia. Fun!

We have an early wake up here with a very warm baby.

Temporal thermometer read 99.4 then 100.3. Rectal thermometer read 96.6 and 97.1. Wtf? I hate not getting the same numbers somewhere. It makes it feel like I'm doing something wrong.

Her head is warm but she is happy and playful, so we are having a predawn dance party.

Too bad the dog woke up at 5:30 and was sick. At least islept through it and mh got up and dealt with it.

So happy I came home on an earlier flight yesterday. Got home at about 6 instead of 10pm. Those hours with V and husband are priceless.
I am working from home today and have a full plate of work and school stuff to get through today.
Vinny slept till 1:00 in his crib. Then was with us and woke up twice asking for a bottle. We gave him a bottle of milk since he hardly ate anything for dinner. We had leftover pizza and green beans he wouldn't touch.
I offered a pouch...he ate like 2 bites.

October is a busy month for us too! I'm helping my mom cater a wedding this weekend, our housewarming is next weekend, we're going to a big fall fest the third weekend, and a Halloween party the last weekend. It'll be November in the blink of an eye!

@Eaglewife I hope your LO's fever goes down.  I always get a different read on the thermometer. Every time.  It drives me nuts.

I am pretty sure I now have pink eye in both eyes again.  I just diagnosed myself and I'm using my drops from last time. Ugh.  And my head is stuffy again and my throat hurts. I'm still on antibiotics from my 13 day sickness.  I'm already over the fall/winter germs and it is just starting.

Then the 25th we are having a big party for our 10th anniversary. Then boom. November.

I'm sitting in the waiting room at my MW's office. The MW I was supposed to see today had a death in the family, the part time MW doesn't have office hours, and the third just got called to the hospital for a delivery.
The nurse asked the girl in front of me if she wanted to wait, but they haven't talked to me yet.
At 37w4d, would you want to wait and be seen, or just go home?

Happy Birthday Month, Birthday Month People!

Lucas slept medium-well, especially considering the amount of gross coming out of his nose, and woke up happy. He is THRILLED to be home. And he ate 3/4 of a graham cracker and several bites of toast for breakfast, which I'm calling a huge win since all he's eaten for the past 3 days is pretzels. I think if we can get some solid food going through him, his poop will be in a very good way. 

I am thrilled to be home too. I can't decide which I missed more: sleeping in my own bed, or pooping in my own toilet.

Oh, and since he's not drinking WCM anymore (strict orders for Pediasure Peptide *only*, no other fluids) and we were away for almost 2 weeks, I have 1.5 gallons of WCM in the fridge that need to be used in the next 24 hours or so. 

I'm already planning on ice cream and maybe some mac 'n' cheese made with the noodles boiled in milk - any other suggestions?

Haddock slept in his crib until 3:30 and then in bed with me until 9, whoa! He woke up and kicked me a few times during those hours, but whatever.

Sooo tired. I hope DH will watch DD when he gets home so I can go to bed. Since I always let him go and relax I think he owes me.
