TTC Second child

My husband and I are trying to conceive. It will be my second biological child but his first, we have only been trying for 3 months now but I'm starting to get concerned because my son's biological father and I only had to try once when I conceived my son. My son is almost three years old and I think this is the perfect time to have another baby. Has anybody else experienced something like this? It just seems strange to me that this conception is so different than the first.

This is probably not the right board for you as most women here have been trying for over a year...that being said my first child was a complete surprise...and I have been trying over a year for number 2....same father

I wouldn't worry just yet (although I know that it is frustrating when things aren't happening as you planned).  We conceived our DS the very first month of trying and have now been trying for 18 months with not a single BFP.
