Pregnant after a Loss

rookie question about ultrasound timing

So I had an early one at 5+2 and another at 7+2 measuring 7+5. I see many girls posting about a 12 week check. Is this considered standard? I thought my next would be the anatomy u/s.
Thank you!

The 12 week u/s is the NT scan, which is an optional screening.  If it hasn't already been offered to you, I would recommend asking your doctor/midwife about it.

For my practice 1 ultrasound per pregnancy is standard (at 20 weeks).  I got one extra early one due to my history of loss, but also to help date the pregnancy (doctor didn't believe me when I told her I ovulated on CD 31).

This varies greatly between practices. My office does not have an ultrasound, so I go to the hospital for these apts.
