  • How much time are you taking off, ladies?  Are your advisers supportive?

  • I am a full time high school teacher and just start an accelerated Master's of Education program with a double emphasis in Adolescent Literacy and Educational Leadership on Monday. Since it is accelerated it means I do not get summer or winter break (or when I'm in labor) and just go straight through for 18 months. (Supposed to only be a year but I added a double major).

I didn't sign up for this program until AFTER I knew I was pregnant so everyone thinks I'm super crazy. I'm starting to agree with them.

I am in a doctorate nurse practitioner program! It is mostly online for the first two years but the last two there will be a lot of Clinicals and classes in person. I just started this past June so still a ways to go! I also am working full time! Glad to see there are so many of us in the same boat! It will be challenging but so worth it! Also not taking anytime off but I am due May 1 and I have three weeks off around then before summer classes start so that will be nice!
