Nothing new. Next appointment isn't until the 16th, and my anatomy scan is on the 24th (team green, so not super exciting). Otherwise just hanging out around 15 weeks-ish, still not feeling very pregnant. I'm really wondering when I will start feeling it more, but remembering how uncomfortable things get later on, I'm pretty happy with feeling normal for as long as possible.
Favorite thing about pregnancy: I love the anticipation! And the hiccups.
Favorite thing about fall: I love cool weather, wearing boots and sweaters and long sleeves and scarves, and I realllllly love the anticipation of holidays coming up, preparing for them, enjoying the season. The time leading up to Thanksgiving and Christmas is my favorite of the year!
@Robi1 it'll be exciting to see your baby and make sure it's healthy right? The a/s isn't just for a between the legs shot :-)
I'm feeling huge as usual. I'm going every 2 weeks now and have only 9 weeks left till my due date. I'm getting nervous bc i haven't prepared a whole lot. But my nb stash is almost complete l lol. Fall is my favorite time of year and this weekend SO and I are going to the mountains in NC! my mom is keeping Colton and my best friend is keeping Harper. I can't wait!!!!!

Yes, I'm definitely happy to see the baby and make sure it's healthy. But it's not the same crazy excitement that many people have for this ultrasound. I feel like last time around there were so many exciting milestone type events, every appointment seemed exciting because it was something new, and this time it's pretty much just the birth I'm looking forward to. It's nice to feel like it's not that big of a deal, just something different.
Still feeling really good, except I wake up a lot at night, and then I have to get up and walk around for a minute and go to the bathroom because of hip/pelvic pain. Trying to roll over is extremely painful.
C was born @ 39 weeks at by this point I was miserable and sleeping maybe 2-3 hrs a night. Either this baby isn't coming that soon, or it is due to a really different position he is in. C was pressing on my back the entire last month or so, and this LO is more on my bladder all the time.
The most interesting thing happening here is that my SIL and BIL moved in with us friday. They are waiting on work visas to come from china, where they will be going as missionaries for a year. Its a really long story, but they had been staying with MIL but she kicked them out because she is crazy.
They were notified that their visas are approved, but won't be mailed until Oct 6, after the Chinese national holiday is over. So they will be here until they visas arrive, and they can make travel arrangements.
I REALLLLLY want baby to wait until they are gone to come.
27 weeks today which means either I'm officially in the 3rd tri or I have to wait one more week...depending on who you ask. Lol
Feeling good still. Started getting some hip pain here and there, but have been doing all of the exercises nightly from our Bradley Method class. They've been helping and make me feel like I'm doing something proactive to help make labor easier (wishful thinking lol).
GTKY: My favorite thing about pregnancy so far is the awesome feeling of being Team Green and having absolutely no idea if a little boy or girl is growing inside of me. The anticipation is definitely starting to grow and I'm getting so excited to meet him or her.
I love everything about Fall! This is my favorite season. Perfect weather, leaves starting to change and my birthday is coming up!
Woohoo! I've only gained two pounds between four weeks ago and now, had negative GD test results, AND baby seems to have settled head down! Obvs I'm celebrating with some Reese's pieces, (since I don't have any ice cream on hand).
Also very happy because I have a MW who I refuse to let treat me after a very bad experience during my last pregnancy and another very bad experience during my labor. I brought it up to the OB who was treating me today, and found out that she no longer does deliveries, so I don't even have to worry about her being the only person available to deliver Katniss. I'm not joking when I say that I would rather have my baby delivered by a homeless person on the floor of a public bathroom than ever have her attend to me again. Celebrating a little more with a few more Reese's pieces. Pretty sure this one warrants me sending J out for ice cream, too.
GTKY: Even when I'm miserable, I love being pregnant. It's amazing to me that I'm growing a tiny human being. This time around I love the added perk of A interacting with her sister while she's in the womb. She sings stories to my belly, loves feeling kicks, and gives her hugs and kisses. It melts my heart every time.
I also love everything about fall. Pumpkin picking and carving, apple picking, apple cider, baking, cool weather, scarves and boots, leaves changing, Halloween... It's all the best!

It all revolves around you.
I had my 16w US a few days ago... and it's looking like a girl! We weren't going to find out but then we chickened out. We can confirm at the AS.
My SIL said to me today that I seem much less uncomfortable this pregnancy than with DS. So true! I'm glad she said it, because 1. It's just true and 2. It gives me some weird validation for how grumpy I was while pregnant with my son. I had no idea how not-miserable pregnancy could be, and it really gives me perspective.
GTKY: I'm one of the weirdos that likes the attention during pregnancy. There, I said it. It's nice when people go out of their way to be nice to you, to ask you how you're doing, etc. I'm always impressed at how people come together for new life!
Favorite thing about fall: Besides EVERYTHING, Halloween!
15 weeks today. I feel fine, other than this nasty virus I have. I went to the doctor today and it's not strep bacteria. I honestly was hoping it was strep so I could take antibiotics to feel better, but I just have to ride it out. I'm really not a sissy, but this is the worst sore throat I've ever had- like wincing and gasping every time I swallow. Ugh.
My next OB appt is next Monday, a day shy of 16 weeks, and I'll start the hormone injections I'll get every week until 36 weeks in an effort to prevent another premature birth. My a/s is on Halloween, and I think we'll find out again whether we're having a witch or a wizard. Hopefully we get all good news on the development. Last a/s they found an echogenic intracardiac focus on P's heart, which freaked me out as a FTM. Everything turned out to be fine, but it really put a damper on the whole anatomy scan, which was the only ultrasound I had all pregnancy last time.
Favorite thing about pregnancy: TBH, not much. I certainly am not one of those women who love being pregnant. I miss beer and wine, and don't appreciate being tired and ready for bed by 6:30 every evening. However, I do love feeling the kicks and having the baby all to myself for those last few months when you really feel her. Again, last time I had an anterior placenta and didn't feel kicks until about 27 weeks, and P was born just after 32 weeks, so I really felt robbed of time feeling those kicks and movements. I haven't felt #2 yet, but I'm hoping I will soon.
Favorite thing about fall: I love all things fall; the smells; the colors of the changing leaves; the apple cider and pumpkin flavored and scented things; the holidays- it's all great to me! It's my favorite season.
