DH has decided he needs professional clothes. No more jeans and woot tshirts for the office. He already has a few suits for any special occasions or important business meetings. What should he get and where should he go? Button ups and nice pants? Help me get DH some adult clothes!
What kind of clothes are your looking for? DH wears anything from khaki shorts and polos, button downs and jeans, suits etc. it depends on the day and what is going on. What do other people wear where your husband works?
DH likes J Crew and Banana Republic for shirts/sweaters. We wears dress pants and a button down shirt daily. In the summer he wears polos and dress pants and in the winter he might add a sweater over the button down shirt. His favorite pants right now came from Kohls though and they are gray plaid cotton pants, I like the khakis from Target, they don't wrinkle at all and fit him really well. J Crew's pants wrinkle like crazy and I hate them! He also likes Express suit pants, but they are expensive so he only has them in black. Honestly, he has like 25 shirts in all colors and several patterns. Men's clothes are boring.
Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!
They wear khakis or dress pants and button ups. DH wears flannel, tshirts and jeans. Most of the shirts say or depict something silly. I am thinking he needs khakis, some dress pants, polo shirts, and button ups. What about shoes though? He's been wearing flip flops! Ugh. I'm going to have to help him because he is literally color blind.
DH does dress pants wit polos in summer and sweaters/button downs in winter. He also loves sketchers for office casual shoes, they look nice and aren't super heavy like his dress shoes.

DH wears brown or black sketchers on more casual days or if he is walking to and from the bus. He has other dress shoes from DSW, not brand specific, for dressier days or suits.

Ok. The man is way overdue for a wardrobe makeover. One of his coworkers referred to his look as "the urban lumberjack" so it's probably time for some new stuff. He is an engineer so I know that he's supposed to wear suits even when he works at home but I think that might be a little drastic ;-) Thanks for all of your help!
DH prefers his polos from a golf store because he likes the lightweight ones. I am no help on everything else. We get his button downs made and his pants specially tailored. A side effect of being super tall.
My husband is a Brooks Brothers shirts and Land's End pants guy for the most part. He'll wear polos on casual days, but always khaki pants...like he'll be buried in them.
Dress pants and button downs. Most are from Van Heusen. He has nicer pants and shirts from Brooks Brothers but he never knows when he might end up in the shop so he saves those for travel.
Dh wears black or grey dress pants and button down shirts with or without a tie. He does van huesen brand which is sold at jcp/kohls/macys. He's the reverse-he's an accountant for an engineering firm where most guys are in jeans or khakis but he just prefers to dress more professionally.
