hey ladies I'm new here currently cd 12 Just want to introduce myselfy name is Elizabeth and I'm 23 married and TTC number 2. I have "unexplained infertility" I recently had a HSG done sep 11 and everything is normal so just waiting to see the re October 15. Can anyone give me some pointers what to expect or maybe what's next ? I would really appreciate it.

Hello, sorry you find yourself here.

Like PP said you may want to check out the TTTC a sibling board. I am also ttc #2, but This board is mostly for women who are undergoing IVF. I would lurk a bit on any of the boards first and read the "new to this board, read me first" posts to get a good idea of which boards are for which situations and to learn the board etiquette.

If you do end up joining here you will want to avoid pictures/siggies with your child in them or give a warning in the post title as it is painful for some members to see. If you plan to mention your child in a post you will want to give a warning as well I.e. "Older child mentioned" so people can avoid opening the post if needed.

When you see the RE they will go over any tests you and DH have had done to develop a treatment plan. Has your husband had a semen analysis? I am assuming it was normal if you are considered "unexplained". If he hasn't that is a very important piece to the puzzle. If he has issues with his sperm you may be able to do IUI, if it's severe (that's our main issue) you may need IVF. Same if you are unexplained, the RE should give you a decent idea of what treatments are an option and what the success rates should be given your diagnoses.
