My night in the ER

Was rather uneventful. I was hoping they'd send me home straight away saying I had gas but instead I got sent up to OB and was there for 3 hours. I went in with nausea and 4/6 BH contracrions and hour. A number of tests, a calm trip to the bathroom to hurl, and a liter of fluids later I was sent home fully hydrated but still feeling the BH contractions (now 2x and hour) and still nauseated. I'm crawling into bed and hoping that my night get less painful and contractiony and more restful. This blows!

(Clarification- the boy and I are both doing fine. I think he liked the iv BC he was dancing the whole time I was hooked up- kicking the HB/contraction monitors. Uneventful in this case is a good thing.)
