I hope I'm not flamed, but I'm not really a fan of the hashtag craze, at least not how people seem to be using them. I think it makes sense if it's a topic that somebody might want to search to see related postings, but more often it seems random and unnecessary. But maybe I'm just out of touch and don't understand them. What do you think? Do you use them? Like them? Do I just not get the point? #overthehill #couldn'tihaveusedparenthesesinsteadofahashtag?
Haha, I'm only 30 but feel out of touch anyway. But I agree as far as using them with something like #momoftheyear, just not when they're in front of every word.
I agree with @chilibeansm0m --my fave (and one of the only hashtags I use) is #jan13mamas
I only use hashtags on Instagram though, never anywhere else.
This is me too.
Add me to this.
I do use hastags ironically and for humor sometimes as well. But usually I tag my jan mamas or something of relevance in the photo (a picture of my dog is #husky, etc).
I voted hate them. I am fine with twitter hashtags, but they annoy me a lot when used on Facebook or google+. I don't have instagram, so I have no opinion about hashtags there, but would probably be ok. I'm only 30, but I guess I'm too old to be cool on Facebook now since I won't use hashtags there.
