3rd Trimester

35 weeks and crying?!

okay so I'm 35 weeks today and lately I have been so emotional I can't stand it. I want to cry over the simplest things and even things that don't even matter! Like I'm currently bawling my eyes out and sobbing because I may not be able to have maternity pictures done in time. I really hate this. Does anyone else have this? And is it pregnancy related or just me? And when does it stop if it is?

Re: 35 weeks and crying?!

  • Oooh hormones are fun, aren't they?! I'm just shy of 30 weeks and I have my moments too...things that never would have made me cry before make me cry now.

First time being pregnant, here, but I hope it passes! Hang in there!

  • I'm feeling the same, I almost cried in work yesterday and became so stressed about something that usually wouldn't bother me too much. I also cry and get emotional over ridiculous things on TV which my partner finds hilarious!
  • I've been getting that too! Aren't hormones fun?! Just random times throughtout the day, I will feel sad and get teary eyed or just flat out cry! Most of the time it's over nothing at all too. Or it's over things I put in my head that sometimes don't make sense or are true.
  • It's hormones.  It will be up and down until a few weeks after you give birth, typically.  Your body will need time to readjust its hormone levels after the baby comes.  Just know that it is hormones and don't freak out.  This too shall pass.  :)

  • I'm nervous for the pp hormones.  I had a really smooth 1st tri, hormone wise.  But just in the last week or so have started to have my moments.  I just wake up some days more emotional than others (regardless of how well I slept).  Good to know it's normal...but I sure do miss feeling more stable!

  • Thank you ladies! Sorry I didn't reply sooner I couldn't figure out how to know if anyone commented lol but I was trying to find clothes to wear for our maternity pictures and I started crying because I couldn't find anything and I'm now to the point that I'm tired of being pregnant and not being able to walk around shopping for even n hour I cry over that too! My mom says I'm at the point where I'll cry if a bird I'm watching flies away or if the mail is late lol I am ready for these hormones to go away
