Cleaning Crayon?

Any tips on the best method to clean crayon off plastic? 

I got one of these toy boxes from my local swap for $7 and the worst offense is that it has some crayon marks on it. 

The plastic is kind of textured, so its pretty in there. I went over the whole thing with a scrub brush and some crappy dish detergent to get all the loose dirt off, but it didn't do much for the crayon. 

What should I try first?

I have washable crayons so I haven't had any major issues so far.

I use vinegar effectively to get crayon off the plastic writing table A has. Also, I would bet rubbing alcohol would work well.

The magic eraser didn't do a whole lot to the crayon, but it left cleaner spots around the crayon, so I ended up going over the entire thing and using up 2 whole magic erasers. It was dirtier than I though.
I tried goo gone next, and it faded the crayon a little more, but its still there.

I'll try vinegar, rubbing alcohol, and toothpaste tomorrow.
