Better late than never! I've gone with one suggestion per person, as TB only gives me 10 spaces. I'm sorry if I missed your suggestion this month.

OK, I'm going to call it. We're reading Gone Girl together. And then get a date night (or friend night) to see it in the theatre. Happy reading friends!

  • I voted Gone Girl too. I'm excited that seeing it means a night out, not just watching on Netflix

  • Night Circus was sooooooooooo goooood - I've only read it once (so far)  (IS THERE A MOVIE FOR THIS ONE BECAUSE OMG I NEED TO WATCH IT!)

Gone Girl was good - I only read it bc a movie was coming out and I wanted to read it before I could possibly see the movie.

Loved the Bone Collector movie, so I'd imagine the book would be good.   I might have to read Lincoln Lawyer in order to fully understand what happened in the movie.  I've only heard of a couple other of the books...

  • I totally didn't vote for my own suggestion, but only because I've read it before. ;)

I have zero interest in Gone Girl, but that seems to be the popular vote so far.

@magentawarped Have you read it? It was surprisingly good and gripping. I loved not being able to predict what would happen next, like so many mystery novels.

@hammysmommy No, I don't think The Night Circus is a movie, but someone asked if the books to also have a movie, so I figured I would include it anyway. It's a GREAT book!

  • @MissDemeanor‌ No, it's just really not my genre at all. I'd read it if that's what was chosen, but I really wouldn't pick it up otherwise.
  • Whatever we decide, I vote no young adult, we've read that a lot. Or maybe we could pick something the majority haven't already read?

  • I missed this original poll, but am so excited for Gone Girl! I read it several months ago, when it was being filmed locally. I'm looking forward to seeing what I do and don't recognize of the locations!

Next: how to convince DH that we need to see this movie. (And figure out a sitter..)

Or go alone? 2 whole hours with all the snacks, and no one bugging you. Seems perfect to me!
