This check-in is for mommas who lost a baby due in the month of August (any year), and any late loss mommas who gave birth and lost their precious angel in August.

New to the check in: Welcome. I'm so sorry you find yourself here but hope you find the love and support you need from the amazing women on TTCAL. Tell us a bit about yourself, where you are in the TTCAL process, and don't forget to include your August EDD or birth date.

For everyone: How are you lovely ladies doing this week? Where are you in the TTCAL process this week? Any appointments coming up?

Hi everyone!  I hope you are well. I *am* feeling better this week--thank you! The pup's health is improved, the weather cleared, and I just feel more in control.  I also got a raise today (yay!). 

        I have an HSG on Weds.  I'm just ready to be done with this! 

        We had our first dinner party with our kitchen almost done, and it was a lot of fun.  Just one guest, but we have to wade into things!

QOTW: I don't really dress up but I want to dress my pup as little red riding hood. She looks like a wolf. I know if would be funnier if I made her the grandmother, but I like the idea of putting her in a cape   and she looks adorable in red.

@sfazar So happy you are having a better week!  Congrats on the raise that is awesome   So glad your pup is better too.  If you do dress her up as Little Red Riding Hood, I must insist you post pics.  I do not think my DH will let me dress our dog up...but we'll see.  I'll be sending you good vibes and well wishes for Wednesday, give an update when you can.  (((hugs)))

Thank you @dawnstar898! What's your status this week?  What type of pup do you have??

I def will post pics if I get my act together and sew her a costume.  For obvious reasons, I haven't hauled out my sewing machine since I reupholstered 2 sofas.

I'm doing ok, just chilling in the 2ww.  If this cycle doesn't work, I'm probably going to call my doctor.  7 straight months of trying with pretty much perfect timing is starting to worry me so we'll see what they say.  Our pup Sophie is a mischievous 3 yo lab mix.  We adopted her about 1 1/2 years ago from a local shelter.  She's what you call a "dixie dog"  Which essentially mans a mutt from the south.  She's pretty great

Mine too!  I'd never heard the term Dixie dog. Ours is from Louisiana.  We are in New England.  She is my best friend. She is quite a mischief maker as well. Our yard is littered with contraband from inside--empty milk jugs, a flip flop, a pair of my husband's boxers, etc. I never know when the witching hour will hit!  Would love for our two to meet!

update: I just got back from the HSG.  all clear!  that's one piece of the puzzle I guess. I was worried about the pain, but it wasn't too bad.

@sfazar Glad your HSG went well, I hope your next steps give you answers. Congrats on the raise!

@dawnstar898 I hope this is your last 2ww for a while; if not, I hope your doctor can help you through the next steps.

AFM:  I still have a lot going on and a lot of things I don't have the energy to cross off my list, but I am in a better place emotionally than I was last week.
  TTC:  We've benched ourselves for financial reasons alone, so I really need to get my act together if I want a chance at cycling before taxes.  (Just another thing on my list).  Idunno, every day is different, but I'll get there.  I'm sorry that I've been so negative lately.  Once I get my various obligations in order, I'll be able to relax a little.

QOTW: DH and I are both working and have no plans to dress up, otherwise.  He'll be working overnight, and I'll sit here in the dark keeping the dog quiet.  On the 1st, I usually hit up the cheap candy at the store.

@LundleBean Glad you are feeling a bit better this week.  Try to just take it one day at a time, I know it's hard not to feel overwhelmed.  Wine always helps me!  You don't have to apologize here either, trust me, we all get it. 
Does your dog bark at all the kids?  I am so grateful that mine doesn't, I think it would drive me nuts!
