Polyhydramnnios anyone? GD or big baby either?

I have gestational diabetes and as a result my baby is 9 pounds at 36 weeks. I also have polyhydramnnios which is an abundance of amniotic fluid. Because of this I am having my c section next week at 37 weeks. I am HUGE and extremely uncomfortable, anyone else have this?

Don't have personal experience with this, but am interested in knowing what your baby actually weighs when they are born.

Yes. I have borderline polyhydramnios and I tend to have large babies due to genetics. They are estimating my baby with be around 10lbs. My last was 9.12lbs. The extra fluid does make it more uncomfortable to do anything. I had some extra fluid with my last but apparently not as much as this time.

I have GD, along with polyhramnios (but just barely I guess). Baby has been measuring 2weeks ahead since around 34-35 weeks. They're estimating baby boy to be between 7-9 lbs. my first boy was 8 lbs 5oz and I did not have GD. I'm scheduled for an induction next week at 39weeks.

Good luck. I have GD but baby has been an ok size.

I know my mom had a lot of fluid and GD, she was huge and gained 80. I came out 6 pounds 6 oz
