Contractions - when??

When they start for you?  i feel like i've been having somewhat painful contractions for the last 3 days.  nothing consistent to make me think i'm in labor or anything...but slightly painful...and sporadic...

 anyone else?

 i think my doc asked me about this last time but since they hadn't started we didn't really get into it...but she said it as if it was normal...

about 26 weeks but mine were not painful at all just tight.

Can you describe what contractions feel like (or what you are feeling)?  My dr asked me at my last appt too and if I am having them I am not aware.  I do get slight cramping feelings but I usually dismiss them as digestion.  Also sometimes my stomach gets unusually hard for a minute or so.

well like a muscle spasm...or significant tightening.  mine are combined with dull lower back pain...

Mine started around 28-29 weeks. They started off being regular every 6 minutes and never stopped until I delivered at 35w3d. If you think it could be contractios are you are getting more than 4 per hour, you really should call your doctor. They can put you on the contractions monitor to measure them.

I had contractions starting at 18 weeks, but the twin pregnancy was also my second one.  My doctors said I had an "irritable uterus". The littlest thing would set off contractions, including sitting too long. I didn't have any cervical changes until 32 weeks though, even with all those contractions.
