Re: ~*~ Goals Check In ~*~ 9/28

  • 1)  What do you have on your to do list this week?

    - Contact my job's HR about LOA

    - Walk 25k steps

    -Make Rice bags

    - Find freezer meal recipes

    - Finalize/plan my sister get together to cook freezer meals

    - Eat small meals all week and not let my stomach get too full.

    2)  Were you successful completing them?

    - I did ok with exception of the 50k steps I think I misjudged how much I actually walk everyday, so I lowered the goal for this week.  I also did not make my 5 meals, but I think we will this week. The classes are done and they were good and I feel like DH and I got alot out of them.

    3) Any other updates?

    - I originally had my clean up shopping on this week, but i have not received my completion coupons so I have to put that off.  The doc this week said that the pain I am getting in my back and chest is from overfilling my squished stomach so she said she wants me to do smaller more frequent meals which is hard for me so that will be a pretty big adjustment.

This has been such a motivation for me to get things done. I didn't want to post that I was too lazy to do it!

    1)  What do you have on your to do list this week?

-swap out the sewing table for the short bookcase we'll use as a changing table

    -set up the crib

-clean out the van and install the car seat base

-wash all the baby clothes and other washable things

    -pack my hospital bag

-pack each of the kids an overnight bag

    2)  Were you successful completing them? (last week's goals)

With the exception of the ruffle socks (because I couldn't find any plain white socks smaller than 0-6M) and swapping the sewing table for the bookcase, I actually got everything done that I wanted to do!

DS's Godzilla costume (still needs a little work, but all the sewing is done!), 3 pairs babylegs, 4 reversible bibs, 5 pacifier/toy clips, two terry cloth backed bibs, Christmas and Thanksgiving onesie dresses... and a partridge in a pear tree, lol!

    3) Any other updates?

It feels like I'm in a mad dash to the finish now, since I want to have all the major things finished by the time I hit 36 weeks... and that's next Sunday! But I am excited to finally start working on her room.

  • 1)  What do you have on your to do list this week?

Make a decision on whether or not to get a new car or new tires on my current car.   Hoping to decide this week so if I am car shopping, it will be this weekend.    Hoping to get my postpartum and hospital bag stuff purchased this week too.    That will depend on how the car stuff goes.

    2)  Were you successful completing them?

Last weeks.....I got all my games printed for my baby shower.   The only thing left to figure out for that is the menu.  My mom and aunts are working on it for me.   :)

    3) Any other updates?    3 weeks til baby shower,  and only 7 more til my EDD.   I still feel like there is so much to do.

  • 1)  What do you have on your to do list this week?

Go to Costco for just a few items

Go to Target and BBB and online shop for the last of DDs winter clothes

Get photo shoot clothes ready and try to meet the photog ahead of time (PRAY for Good weather on Sunday!)

Add two more daycares to the list of where to visit next week

    2)  Were you successful completing them?

Looking at last week's list the only thing I was successful with is buying DDs clothes, we did MAJOR shopping on Friday... but I still need to do the things that were on last week's list... UGH

    Buying pump machine extra parts

Buy craft materials for DDs busy boxes/ activity jars (this is what I plan to use to keep her busy when I am BFing etc)

GOAL: Clean my room and throw out/ donate a ton of clothing and linens!

    3) Any other updates?

DD has been spending more time with my friends that will watch her while I am having my CS so I am happy that she's getting more and more comfortable with them (puts my mind at ease!)

  • Oh oh, can I join????

    1) What do you have on your to do list this week?
    - Pack hospital bag

    - install car seat (bases)

    - Make an order for some of the final items we need (replacement pump parts, Nosefrida, diaper bag)

    - Clean out office!

    - Take items to Goodwill

    - Buy wall decor for LO's room on Etsy and have MIL print them to frame

    2) Were you successful completing them? (last week)

    - I finished my thank you cards so that's awesome!

    - I wanted to get some yard work done, but I was too tired (lazy) on the weekend so that didn't get done

    - I didn't get my hospital bag packed because I freaked out while in the drug store looking at post-partum supplies and just left.

    - I was also too lazy to clean out the office last week so that didn't get done either.

    3) Any other updates?

DH has a few days off this week so hopefully he can get a few of the things on his list completed. I feel like we did so well up until this point and it's starting to get real so we're slow playing it.

  • I MUST make room for this baby.  So my goal this week is to get as much stuff out of my house and into storage in my offices.  Work stuff...  books.... whatever.  It has to go.
