i have had 3 ultrasounds one at 21wks , 28wks and 33 weeks and each one our little guy has measured 2 weeks ahead. Anyone else's baby measuring big and did they move your due date ?
Our little girl has been measuring 2 weeks over since the 2nd trimester. I hope she's not too big, our son was 8lbs 13oz. They have not moved up our due date, but for some reason, I feel like she may come a little early. We shall see!!
I've had growth scans at 32 weeks due to baby measuring 5-6 weeks ahead. It still is measuring that much ahead and they havent moved my date. I have another growth scan on Tuesday and we are going from there. At 32 weeks baby was estimated at 7 lbs 4 oz.
Had one at 32 wks....5 lbs 9 oz, not moving my date...big baby/gestational diabetes....I expected a 9 lb'er. I did have my date moved up 1 week to 39 wks though due to repeat scheduled c-section.

They're notoriously off. A lot of measurements that indicate a bigger baby tend to be way off, so a good chunk of those told they may have a bigger baby will actually end up with an average size baby. Most babies will fall into an average range. Check out some of the other boards like Sept and Oct. Most of the babies are between 6-8 lbs. Haven't seen a 10 pounder in S14 yet, but there may end up being one.
"Big" to me is 10+, but bigger is 9+, especially before 40/41 weeks. I'm expecting this baby to be in the 9 lb range at the 39/40 week mark, but we'll get a better idea after 32 weeks when she starts laying down more layers of fat. My term babies were 9 lbs at 38 weeks, 8 lbs., 9 oz at 39 weeks and 9 lbs at 39.2 weeks. Their gestational age was spot on with date of ovulation/conception. Between the 88th and 96th%. No impaired glucose tolerance during any of my pregnancies.

Wow! Very tall. I'm 5'9.5" and DH is 6'2", so I'm curious how long she'll be at birth, and what her final height will be. My term babies were 22", 21" and 22". Ex-husband is 5'10", so they may have taken after my side in the height area.

My babies head is measuring 4 weeks ahead, his body about 2 weeks ahead. They aren't changing my due date but if he's not here by week 37 they are going to strip my membranes because I don't want a C-section.

By stripping your membranes do you mean induction? I really don't want a csection either but the way my dr was talking they don't like to induce that early. But if she goes all the way to 40 weeks they think she will be too big for me to deliver without a csection. Did you request them to strip your membranes at 37 weeks or was it something they just offered? I'm going to speak with my dr more at my next appointment and just want to know if that's something I should ask her
Both of my kids measured bigger at 20 weeks and up, ds was 40w5d at 9lbs6oz and daughter was scheduled section at 39w exactly and was 9lb14oz and ultrasound was only a few off.
I measured a week ahead at first and have measured 2 weeks ahead since 22 weeks and they never moved my due date. Both me and my husband were 9+ lbs so I assume he will just be a big baby like we were.
