Hoping for Hope

So DH and I's anniversary is Monday so we actually scheduled a date tomorrow where we have a sitter for 5 hours. We have loose plans including a winery and dinner, but I'm really, truly hoping something sparks between us again. This feels like my last whole-hearted shot, so just asking for some T&P that it's a happy, light hearted day and no crazy drama. No other point, just asking for positive thoughts!

Sending positive vibes! Try to just enjoy the time wherever it shall take you. If you spend the whole date hoping for the spark to reignite you might miss truly enjoying the time and letting it happen naturally.

Sending you all the positive thoughts I can muster today. 

H and I had a huge cry session over the weekend how we are just J's parents lately, almost like roommates. We need to find "us" again. So we made plans for date nights once a week for the next 4 weeks to get things going again. We also made dinner mandatory to sit down at our table and after J goes to bed we have mandatory cuddle time. It's so cute. I'm hoping it gets us back to feeling more like a couple and not just roommates.

Hope all went well.  I think it is so hard on dates like the to connect, like too much pressure!  I just hope that you guys were able to relax and enjoy each others company.
