    Ha, I remember ladies on some bump boards (might have been the 3rd Trimester boards....) doing this. Needless to say they were flamed. I would never want to check my own cervix.

    Around the end of August there was a thread on S14 asking about the benefits of having a doctor strip your membranes to get labor going. A woman from O14 came in and told us that she checks her own dilation and even stripped her own membranes at the end of her last pregnancy. She got flamed big time for that... so so dangerous.
