We have an elephant A+A one for this LO as well...I let him play with it and chew on it during the day, but not letting him sleep with it yet. He is actually still swaddled so not like he could grab it anyway I guess. Not sure when I will let him sleep with it...
We have a little blankey with a duck head that she loves and she also loves her wubbanaubs. She hardly uses the binky part but loves the little monkey and elephant.
no. and I won't. I don't think I my baby needs to be attached to anything. In fact, I actually think it would be a pain. My 2 year old is obsessed with this $6 CREEPYass Daisy beanbag it comes everywhere with us. I am not going to worry about a lovey until she attaches herself to one.
I have one from Carter's that holds his pacifier and the head of the bear is a rattle. I use it because it prevents his pacifier from falling on the floor, getting lost in the car seat, etc. He is not attached to it and I don't let him sleep with it. The paw has a small Velcro strap for the pacifier so I can undo it if he falls asleep with it and the pacifier stays in his mouth undisturbed.
She loves her little fuzzy giraffe and her tiger tag blanket. She pretty much loves all blankets and has to have something to play with or hold while falling asleep and nursing. I would rather it not be my hair so it's usually a blanket or my teething necklaces. I of course do not let her have the teething necklaces but sometimes for nap if she has a tight grip on the blanket I let her sleep with it while I'm watching.
DS has a lion, it's a lot smaller than the A&a ones and is more like velour. He's had it for about 1.5 months now, not allowed to sleep with it during the day loves to rub his face on it and suck it.
We have a lovely and a WubbaNub that DS gets to cuddle while in the carseat and while supervised during naps. We are trying to wean from swaddling and the lovely helps keep him from wanting to roll while unswaddled for naps.
My LO loves the prefold diaper cloth. The old ones that were hand me downs are so much softer and fluffier than the crappy thin ones they have out now.
I've been introducing a cuter lovey since he normally uses the other ones for puke. Lol I have two carters ones that have a mini stuffed animal attached. He only used them in the swing and while supervised. I also love the taggies one, but he doesn't play with the tags yet.
DD has a taggie bunny that she plays with in the car and when she naps in the swing. She seems to also love to cuddle with the burp rags that my SIL made for her.
DD loves the mini taggie blanket a friend made her, but I only let her hold it during the day when she's awake. I didn't let DS sleep with anything big enough to cover his face till he was a year old.
