Being Induced!

I have some awesome labor buddies, but since i'm able to..I'll update everyone

I have the Pre-E & "In L&D" threads and appreciate so much everyone's outpouring of thought prayers and well wished BUT NOW IT GO TIME!

I am in L&D permanently now. Due to my high bp, headaches and etc progressively getting worse, they've decided to induce me. I was actually just finishing up a routine ultrasound when the specialst came in to tell me that Grayson didn't technically pass the "test" in everything they were looking for so they took my bp just for kicks and giggles and it was 169/112 & she smiled and said "Ok Looks like we're gonna take this baby today...."

I'm being induce in just a short while and am 1cm. They believe he'll be MAYBE 4lbs and arrive sometime tomorrow. I'm a little nervous but I think more excited to get it all over with and meet this little guy. He'll be in the NICU for a while but hopefully not too long so AGAIN, thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated. I'll update as much as possible. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME! THANKS!

Good luck!!! I was induced early with my DS due to complications of GD & although the early part isn't obviously ideal I loved the whole induction process rather than spontaneously going into labor. It was pretty awesome & it felt so safe during the whole process with all the monitoring & I am hoping I end up with an induction this time around too. Just throwing that out there on induction as I know a lot of ppl want to avoid it, I thought it was cool & hopefully you will too. Good luck!!!
