Hi I have been hesitant to intro here until my first ultrasound which is on the 7th of October (a million years away), but here goes!
I have endo and DH has low motility. After 4 years of TTC, we saw the RE and he suggested we move straight to IVF. We had our first cycle last month and got our first ever BFP! I am now 5w3d.
I also wanted to ask if any of you are having any period like pain? I started have these pains a couple of hours ago and I am extremely nervous right now.
Congrats!! I am 4w3d and have been having some mild period like cramps a Few times a day. It's almost like a tightening, but it's a sharp pain. My nurse today said it was fine as long as it wasn't accompanied by bleeding.

Congrats as welcome! I remember having a lot of period like cramps with both pregnancies. With my 1st I was sure my perio was coming any minute. Every time I went to the bathroom I checked for spotting but I never did.
I believe it's just baby settling into your uterus. Cramping is normal.
Diagnosed MFI- low sperm count
DS-Born 7/27/11 After 2 years of IF we have our little man
I had serious period-like cramping all the time (and especially after orgasm) until around 6-7w. Not bleeding is a good sign, cramping is normal. Hang in there!
Congrats and welcome!! Like PP said cramping is quite normal

Welcome and congrats! I think that mild period like cramps are normal pretty early on, but if it's accompanied by spotting or the pain is moderate-severe, definitely give your dr a call!
TTC since Sept 2011, Unexplained IF Oct 12 - Jan 14: 3 clomid/TI cycles, 2 hysteroscopies, 2 IUIs, 1 BFP (MMC @ 12w), 2 more IUIs Feb 14: Gonal-f + IUI #5 = BFP! (EDD 11/4/14) Baby boy arrived 11/13/14!
I called my clinic and the nurse said cramping is to be expected and is also partially caused by the progesterone pessaries. Thank you for the reassurances!
I've had cramping a bit on and off all week. I'm at 5 weeks today. I worry about it too and find the need to give constant updates to DH about it From my research on the interwebs it seems common as long as it isn't more intense than period cramping. Glad you called your clinic though!
