Mine's not that funny...but I swear each day there's something dumb I shed a tear over. I've been a giant dork and watching The Roosevelts documentary on PBS...I was crying like a baby hearing about how FDR and Eleanor weren't really that close. I knew this, but you'd think I was learning my parents were no longer in love.

I'm on the everything page too. TV shows, commercials, songs on the radio, not to mention anytime I start thinking about my fears of losing this. I've also started this hysterical laughter / crying breakdown during my PIO shot. I have no idea where that is coming from...
Everything makes me cry!!! Seriously!!! but the funniest thing that made me cry was the song "Proud to be an American". I bawled thinking about how proud I really am. LOL

Umm....yeah.
I cried at random animals too....a dolphin and beluga whale show the week of my positive beta because they were just so cute. Best part was, I couldn't tell the story for weeks without crying again, LOL

Has anyone seen the Budweiser make smart decisions because your best friend is counting on you commercial with the dude and the dog? The guy went out with his buddies with beer and the dog was waited at the door the whole night. I was just weeping thinking this guy better get home to the dog! Haha.

Add me to the everything makes me cry column. Here's the stupidest: Someone mentioned the Twilight series after class (which I have read and watched, mainly in order to effectively ridicule and critique as promoting abusive relationships) and I was reminded that the mother character almost died because she threw herself off a cliff when her baby died. I was just standing there with some students and had to discreetly wipe AN ACTUAL TEAR away remembering that plot line. Pathetic.

When we were going thru treatment to get pregnant I started crying cause I really did not want to brush my teeth. Dh was so sweet he told me not to and just go to bed. But I continued to cry and tell him I had to, and bawled the whole time I did.
In preparation for Grays Anatomy coming back (premiere tonight was good!), I rewatched some old episodes this week. One was when Meredith gave birth, and their son was having some issues, and she told Derek to stay with the baby. I started hysterically sobbing for like 30 minutes thinking about if I had to tell DH the same thing (crying again now thinking about it). Like can't breathe sobs.
We've had "the talk" that he is to stay with the baby no matter what if we get separated (the only good NICU is at a hospital another hour away from the one I will be delivering at, so if there's a serious problem that means ambulance or helicopter) and I cry every.single.time I think of the possibility.
I cried when I was pg with ds because I saw a dad playing catch with his son. I thought about how I was so happy that dh could play catch with our son and just started crying.

Otherwise, I get really emotional about home. I really want to move back to our hometown, but we have a house tying us down right now. We were walking in the park and I couldn't stop crying because I just kept thinking about going home to a place where I actually like the parks and they have meaning/memories for me. Perhaps a nesting thing? Or I'm just sick of the stupid place we live in now.

I cried A LOT watching one of those John Quinones TV clips on FB, it was "What Would You Do?" i think, anyway, it was a Mom who needed grocery stamps but didn't have enough, UGH brutal. BTW it was an actress not an actual hungry family and I knew this ...but the people were so quick to help her & the one guy who didn't offer to help her pay is also on assistance and couldn't b/c he had no cash. ugh heart broken.

I started to tear up watching last night's episode of the Colbert report. I don't even know why. It was during the segment of the marshmallow theory or something like that about kids and delayed gratification being more successful later in life. It really wasn't anything to cry about but, alas, I did.
And one of those protect the tigers commercials came on and I almost cried. If an ASPCA commercial comes on...I'll be in trouble.

I was putting away the groceries on Sunday, and as I was putting away the eggs, my hand slipped, and I dropped 23 eggs. They broke inside my refrigerator, ran down the shelves and into the freezer below, down the front of the freezer drawer, all over the floor, on my cabinets, on a throw rug, and - insult to injury- started seeping under the fridge.
When my husband came in from the garage, he just saw me, staring into the open refrigerator and bawling - Totally BAWLING my eyes out. So, of course, he laughed - which made me realize how dumb I was being.
It was a royal pain to clean it up, though. From now on, I will be super careful whenever handling eggs.

I cried last weekend when my dog jumped into the car, she whimpered a little because she tripped. She's fine but I cried because I realized she's getting old and she's going to die (she's going to be 7 in January). She's not that old and she isn't dying, but I cried like a baby as if we were taking her to be put down.

Good thing for big sunglasses...

I just sobbed in my car in a parking lot for several minutes after getting the news that my husband's cousin and his wife are due three days after us. Here's the cousin's story, which will also make you cry. Short version is that his health completely collapsed about three months after getting married, and he's still severely affected by an undetermined autoimmune disease in addition to having survived cancer. His newlywed bride had absolutely no clue what she was signing up for but has been amazing throughout. They didn't think he would survive, let alone be a parent.
I guess it's not stupid to cry about that. What WAS stupid was me sobbing over a FB video of a beagle getting his forever home after being overlooked at the shelter, but I can't find it to share.

But yesterday someone put on the movie "Water for Elephants" ( I think that's the name) and I've never seen it before, so the horrible circus owner beats the elephant and I was uncontrollably BAWLING for like 20 mins. My OH was like, "would someone PLEASE turn this off?" I also cried yesterday because my OH said I "cut him off" when he was speaking....and so I thought he was being too mean. um, ya.

Ok 1 more, last one, hopefully! - I was just listening to Rather be by Clean Bandit in the car and started to tear up! This song was playing when we went to Europe to do our procedure and I liked it but listening to the lyrics had me almost bawling my eyes out while driving .. there was something about traveling land and sea and the lyric, as long as I am with, there's no place I'd rather be .. i keep picturing our baby girl .. n now I'm getting teary eyed from writing this .. oh boy!
My SO has some depression issues that are always worse in the winter, SAD (seasonal affective disorder) kicks in big time when the sun starts setting before we get home. It usually makes him more tired and cranky. Well he's been getting more angry at stuff lately and it's been making me almost burst into tears at 9 weeks. I don't know what's going to happen later on. I want to stay positive there are so many things to worry about now. But things that normally made me tear up and sniffle a little have become 3 kleenex ordeals.

@pblge I've pushed a few links at him as hints. The regular doctor has talked to him about it. But until he just randomly does it, it won't happen. He's one of those guys that has to warm up to an idea. We've bantered about a few of the options but the credit card hasn't been whipped out yet. I may have to cry at him to get him to do it.
