    Oh gosh @clarypax, I can see that being a benefit and also having a huge downside! At least you know that you have one independent girl on your hands! :)


    The latest one for me was this morning and it was because he didn't want to wear pants.

    Because I wouldn't let her eat with her feet on her tray table.

    Because I took her temperature and sucked the snot out of her nose.

    Because I wouldn't let her bring her blankies in the bathtub.

    I wouldn't let her get run over by a car chasing a ball.
    I wouldn't let her run into the side of her dad's car when he pulled in the driveway.
    I poured her milk but it took too long to hand to her.
    I gave her brother a bottle but not her (off bottles for a long time now).
    She had the wrong monkey book.
    I wouldn't let her climb in the dishwasher.
    I wouldn't let her touch the hot oven.
    I made her get a diaper change.
    I took down her brother's packnplay

    Lately the big ones are: because I need to change his stinky diaper, because I'm trying to get him out of the tub because he's been in there for an hour and the water is cold and his skin is crinkled....because I don't give every single one of his animals a good night kiss...

    Because he ate all of his Lara Bar 
    Because I wanted to change his diaper 
    Because I wouldn't sing "Farmer in the Dell" over and over again in the car
    Because the caterpillar we saw yesterday upon walking into daycare was not there today
    Me: unexplained infertility - annovulatory DH: testicular cancer survivor!! TTC since June 2009 BFP May 11, 2012 EDD January 24, 2013 June 1, 2012 - first u/s, heartbeat 124 BPM!! June 22, 2012 - heard the heartbeat 9w1d 181 BPM!! 24 hours of labor, 4 1/2 hours of pushing, and IT'S A BOY! Welcome to the world my miracle, we prayed and prayed for you, and we can't believe you're here!

    Because I wouldn't let him have a sucker when we left daycare. Because he didn't want to take a bath. Because I wouldn't let him put his feet on the dinner table while he ate.
