Has anyone been diagnosed with a fibroid outside your uterus, I have an appointment for a second opinion Friday morning and im really worried they will say to have surgery to remove it. Anyone been through this? Thank you

    How far along are you? With my first pregnancy I had a fibroid that got pretty large...but did not need to do anything about it. You could feel it thru my stomach. It was very weird. My husband is an OB and was not really concerned at all...but my fibroid could be different then yours. Nothing is alike:) he did say it is common to produce fibroids while pregnant bc the increase of blood flow. Also...I was in my third trimester when it appeared. I think it took about 6 monthes and it just went back to normal. I guess it must have not been too huge. Good luck! I hope yours is nothing as well.
