And I am old and do not understand "ratchet" unless you are referring to a metal tool used to work on cars or sinks. It's a noun not an adjective FFS.

As a middle school teacher, I can assure you that ratchet is not the tool, lol!! Girls like to refer to other girls as being ratchet. Like skanky for their generation.

From the kids at my work it means like nasty or like not cool? I dont know. people I went to high school with used it on a daily basis and I still don't know what it really means. But those pictures are awful! )
