WTF rain? You couldn't have waited until we moved? Now we're delayed on getting everything loaded. We were supposed to leave early and now we might not make it before they close the road for the night. (And by rain, I mean torrential downpour. We could barely see the truck, let alone try to load it). ETA: This will be a POST AND RUN until TOMORROW MORNING. Sorry! Gotta get this show on the road!

WTF to Comcast. The tech got here at 830 this morning to install a home security system. Then he tells me that it'll take until 1pm. Well it's after 1, and he's not done. He's not even here! He left at 930 to go get some equipment, and didn't get back until 1230. Then he did a little work, and left again! This time to deliver something to another customer. I planned on working half a day today, but looks like I won't be going in at all. I'm so annoyed.

WTF self.  Get your shit together.  Sunday you dropped and smashed your casserole dish containing a ratatouille that included sauce that took hours to make from scratch.  Then today you manage to lock your keys and phone in your running car at the gas station.  I had to call H and have him schlep up with the spare key.  And I just realized that I packed all my yoga clothes for class after work but neglected to grab my bag with my yoga mat and water bottle in it.  I swear I've lost my marbles.

@theholmanherd that's awful!  Please drive safely. @mmmKayy I hate Comcast workers (and that includes my neighbor who is one). @kushie77 we've all had days like that!  it's definitely a sign to skip the yoga and go for the wine!

WTF to my coworker who decided to just completely blow off the action he was assigned to coordinate with a very short turnaround.  Because you've decided to be an incompentent fool I've had to drop everything to lead a response that isn't even in my department.  I'm glad you get paid more than me to pawn your work off on others.  Now I'll be stuck here late tonight and won't be able to make it to the gym or yoga class!

Thank goodness tonight is Mexican night (every Wednesday DH and I go to our local Mexican restuarant because it's $2.99 margaritas).  I think I'll be ordering a pitcher for just me tonight!

@theholmanherd I'm so sorry. We ended up having to put off our moving date so long (from my parents' to our first house) finally we moved in pouring rain. Had to let leave the furniture on-end to drip dry for a while...Good luck!

@kushie77 You poor thing, you have so much on your mind! Hopefully this is a better day.

Thankfully, the FedEx package was still on the porch at my old house when I arrived, but I wasted a good 2 hours of my day thanks to their mistake - on the day we had movers at our house! So lame, and so much unnecessary stress!

Sounds like everyone has had a rough day! We made it safely to the new place and DH got his official start date this afternoon. So far, everything is working out great! (((HUGS))) to all that needs them

OMG I had the worst experience EVER with Comcast home security.  No exaggeration -- I have had more than 25 phone calls to them over the past 4 months, some for an hour.  That department sucks, and their phone system doesn't work right (wtf?  Isn't Comcast a phone company?)

Last month my bill jumped to $499 for absolutely no reason and I flipped out... the system still doesn't work right and my billing is still not completely right either. Good luck, UGH  :-(

We had such issues with Comcast between issues with the phone and billing (I once got a bill for $1400 b/c they didn't credit the old equipment we returned and then triple billed for the equipment they delivered) that I actually reported them to the Better Business Bureau.  We wound up dealing with their "executive committee" customer service team.  It was awful, but they agreed that they screwed up big time and we got 6 months of free service.  If they don't fix it, report them.

My SIL is having huge issues with Comcast, too. Makes me happy we've never dealt with them!

I spent 4 hours on the phone with them last week. That was just one call. (Yeah so, I have no life) They sent us our home control equipment for self install, but after sending us the equipment they cancelled our order. So we had the stuff, but couldn't use it because it wasn't on our account and they basically didn't know we had it. Crazy right! Well when I called them to get things straightened out, they said they just changed all their pricing and packages and what I had couldn't be given to me at the price was told. It would actually be $100 more. Get the f*ck out of here. After a million times of being put on hold, they finally got it all worked out and were supposed to send out a tech, for free, to install it. Well, he never showed up. So I said screw it and took the shit back to the store. It's not what we wanted anyway. We wanted a security system, but they said since we rent we couldn't get that. Which come to find out was false. Long story short, they set us up with what we wanted to begin with, and gave us hella discounts and freebies. But, it's Comcast, so I can only imagine what the first bill is going to look like.
