Where to get Halloween costumes

Happy autumn! I know people have talked about what their LOs are dressing up as for Halloween, but where is everyone getting their Halloween costumes from? Most of the ones I've seen in the stores are flimsy, cheaply made, etc. I'd love to find some high-quality, well-made costumes that will last through future kiddos and random dress-up fun. (And I am not the least bit handy with a sewing machine.) Any ideas?

I didn't really have any specific ideas yet about what he should go as -- I was looking for a good place to browse.

I've been wondering the same. Seems like all the party stores have those cheap looking costumes that are way over priced!

I've been Pinning some cute DIY costumes.

Also... I'm SERIOUSLY considering the stick figure costume. I feel like that would be absolutely AMAZZZING.

DH wasn't thrilled about the price but I told him it was just for his 1st real Halloween and that all the babies could use it lol.  Plus in Michigan its usually really cold and its really warm and thick. They have a ton of really cute ones.  

I loveeee the Max outfit. It will be nice and warm. I was scoping out PB's Halloween baskets. They are super cute!

Love the Max costume! I went to the mall today and ended up getting the Pottery Barn elephant. It's super cute, and the price isn't too bad as long as a future kid wears it too.

We got one at Costco. It's just for handing out candy with me, and we barely get any kids at the door. I'll be willing to spend more when he's old enough to trick or treat.

Target has a cartwheel offer today for 40% off kids costumes. I know it can only be downloaded today. Not sure how long it is good for though.

LO will be Elmo. She LOVES elmo! I think she will freak out when she sees herself dressed as him!

Babies R Us has some nice stuff. The Carter's by me doesn't have a good selection. I used BRU last year. This year, I'm making it.

I usually get ideas from PBKs and then make it myself. 

DD1 wants to be the PBK black cat this year so I picked up Carters mouse costume for DD2.
