AF already after d&c?

I miscarried on aug 1 naturally and then had to have a d&c sept 3 for leftover tissue. I had very minimal bleeding afterwards for a few days. I assume because I had bled so much with the natural miscarriage.

One week after the d&c I got a negative pregnancy test so I know hcg went back to zero very quickly.

Yesterday I started having full blown period cramps and a bright red flow like a period. Could this be a period three weeks after the d&c??

Anyone else get a period this early? Is this even possible? I expected 4-6 weeks.

Any insight would be great! Thank you!

    Totally possible and normal.
    Son: Jackson, 11/02/06, stillborn due to PPROM and IUGR. Over the next ten years we had 9 miscarriages from 8-14 weeks. On May 18, 2016 my daughter, Ridley, was born. We're OADNBC.

    If you confirmed negative then I would definitely suspect it's AF! Yey!!

    If you were back down to zero a few weeks ago, then it could definitely be AF.

    I also got AF back at 3 weeks post d&c. My HCG levels were not back to normal though until 5 weeks after my d&c. I was not completely sure if it was AF, but it returned exactly 28 days after that, so it would appear it is.
