Should I have any hope?

Hello! I'm not sure if this is where I should be posting, but here goes:

My DS was born May 2013 as a result of our second round of IVF. I surprisingly got a BFP last week and went in for blood work that same day. My HCG was 128 but progesterone was only 2.5. They said not all hope is lost but it didn't look good. I did start supplementing progesterone immediately and had more blood work done yesterday. I'm still waiting on those results. I have done HPT's everyday and they are all still positive and very dark. With my previous MC during my first IVF, my first HCG was 120 and I had a negative test within a couple of days. I'm trying to somewhat prepare myself for the results from yesterday's blood work but I'm still clinging on to a little hope with the BFPs I'm still getting. Have you ever heard of anyone having a successful pregnancy with progesterone that low? Should I post this question on another board? Thank you!

I honestly don't know much about P levels in non medicated cycles. FX that this goes well for you! There is nothing wrong with having hope for this! Good luck!

I'll be honest and say that your progesterone was really low but I'd still try and have a little hope.  Maybe that was a lab error or maybe you starting supplementing in time.  I don't have experience with levels that low but know I've read posts from other women who ended up having successful pregnancies.  Fingers crossed for you.

Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12

Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck.  Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
