L&D trip today *update in op*

Well my blood pressure was super high 156/90. My dr sent me to L&D after I laid there for 3 hours it went down thankfully. But my legs and arms are super swollen, huge headache. And while I'm there they started picking up contractions. I had been feeling contractions but they haven't hurt (yet). They checked and my cervix was still closed but I had contractions the whole time. I follow up with my dr tomorrow but the dr on call says it's more than likely going to be bed rest for me and try to get to 36 weeks. I have an ultrasound scheduled for next week due to LO measuring 38 weeks big. But we shall see from here.

So I am on bed rest officially. I've been taken off work and the goal is trying to get baby to 36-37 weeks longer if I can make it. I've gained 4 lbs in a week. . My uterus today measured 45 cm. my contractions are still happening due to the size of my uterus right now. So that's one of the main reasons for bed rest. Because I had a previous c section there is a higher chance of uterine tearing because of the baby's size. Thanks for the t&ps. I really appreciate it ladies!

Thanks ladies. I have an ultrasound Tuesday and my weekly the same day. I'm honestly more in shock than anything. Just need to make it 3 more weeks at the earliest!!

@wildflower75‌ I'm doing ok. Been having contractions that hurt this time but they are really irregular but do wake me up. My swelling is finally done and my blood pressure is staying on the high end of normal. Might be tmi but I'm seeing an increase in mucus and my dr said as long as I'm not seeing blood(mucus plug showing that the contractions are changing my cervix) I'm ok. Thanks again for all the t&ps it means a lot
