Sh!t my baby does

Babies do weird sh!t, and I can't be the only one that wonders [a lot] if what my baby is doing is normal, but rarely post because it seems so silly to ask about. 

So let's see if your baby really is weird. Post something your baby does; if someone posted something your baby does too, love tit the post (like we do for NHIE).

M bumps into things on accident, then does it over again on purpose. Sometimes repeatedly until he decides it hurts or gets distracted and wanders away.

DD will back into the tv stand and try to sit up. She gets her feet stuck and then calls for me. I will pull her away and she will do it again.

M has no off switch for food. He's never refused a bottle and he'll eat puree as long as we offer. If he eats too much he just yaks it back up on us.

DS motor boats me. He just discovered making sound with his mouth and he does it every time I play with him while he's sitting on my lap.

Since weaning, I think DD is confused. If she is hungry and I'm holding her, she tries to eat my face. She used to dive bomb my chest but now she lunges at me mouth open and gums my nose, cheek, mouth, eyes, all of it. Pretty hilarious

My baby shakes his head from side to side smiling and laughing when it's bed time. Then he takes a pillow and puts it over his face and up and down like a ball. This continues for about 20 mins, alternating between pillow and head shaking. Then he falls asleep.

@danaadell‌ Dd also does that when she wakes up during the night. It does not look at all comfortable.

The weirdest thing DD has been doing is the one knee crawl. We thought she would grow out of it but it's pretty apparent this is how she's going to crawl.

If there's a blanket on the floor he head dives into it and rolls around until he gets comfy or he spins around in circles like a dog until his spot is comfy.

She loves pillows. I keep two on the living room floor for her and she will crawl as fast as she can to them and throw herself down. If they aren't there she looks for them.

DS poses for the camera, literally he will hold a position or smile until you get the shot and then continue his activities. He loves the camera and looking at his own pictures!

DS loves falling over. I will syand him next to the crib so he can hold himself up and then he let's go to fall into my lap and giggles.

Dd will pull on her gums and lips very hard with her fingers and it makes a popping noise. She does it repeatedly.

DD will pull at her clothes, mostly shirt, when she's getting hungry. She's got a couple of her shirts stretched from doing this.She goes from happy to pulling in a few seconds and it's "Feed me now!!!" time

He falls asleep in the shower. Seriously. He folds himself in half and falls asleep.

@mamatoosh‌ dd does the atand n nurse too!! It's ridiculous!
She also runs thru all of her "skills" in am effort to distract you from doing something she doesn't like. For example, I'm coming to wash her face after eating, so she ducks her head for peek-a-boo, claps her hands, and waves all in a row...

DS dunks his washcloth in the bath then sucks on it. Yuck!

I'm super impressed with all the babies that are doing peek-a-boo, etc. We're just learning to wave and it's very hit or miss yet.

DD plays with her shadow and will even sometimes try to eat it.
And holy cow it's been FOREVER since I've been here.

My babe is also a gymnastics nurser.  I nurse him lying in bed in the morning when I'm tired, and when he's done, he gets up on all fours, puts his head down, and tries to nurse in basically a downward facing dog yoga pose.  I'll let him do it for a minute because I think it's hilarious, but them I'm like "ok pal, enough of that."

Soooo my baby likes to bite my feet. I'll be sitting on the couch and all of a sudden I feel 6 wee baby teeth gnawing my toes. Gross.

My baby knows she's not supposed to eat our shoes, but loves to be chased.  She'll sit on the floor and yell at me until I look at her, and then she crawls as fast as she can towards the shoes and laughs hysterically, looking back every few seconds to make sure I'm still after her.  It's SO funny now, but I'm fairly certain this 'game' of hers is going to get old eventually.
