I got the DE talk today. I'm 33 with good FSH and AFC, but crappy AMH. I was originally dx with UI, but now it's DOR. We attempted IVF three times, but only made it to ER once. We are with SG and they recommend the shared cycle guarantee program. We are going to get a couple of second opinions and wouldn't cycle with DE until at least next year. But I wanted to intro so that I can lurk and ask questions in the meantime. If anyone has any experience with SG's DE program, I'd be interested to hear. Thanks for having me!

    Me: 32 DH: 35  TTC#1 since March 2012
    Dx: Poor Embryo Quality, Arcuate Uterus, Poor Uterine Blood Flow, Mild Endo, 
           Protein S Deficiency, Sjorgen's Syndrome 

    IUI #1-5: BFN
    Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy: minimal endo, partial septoplasty
    IVF #1: 10R/6M/6F ~ Day 3 ET = BFN
    IVF #2: 14R/9M/5F ~ transfer canceled ~ all embryos arrested at 1-2 cell stage
    IVF #3: 9R/5M/5F ~ 1 frosty!
    IVF #4 (FET #1): BFN

    IVF #5 (DE IVF #1 with Dr. KK protocol): Currently PREGNANT!!!!!!
    Synthroid + Prednisone + Metformin + Baby Aspirin + Supplements Galore = 15+ pills a day
    Lupron + Lovenox + Delestrogen + IVIG + B/W = 2-5 pokes a day
    19R, 17M, 17F - transferred two Grade A blasts 11/16, four frosties!!!
    Beta #1 11/24 (13dpo/8dp5dt) = 367 ~ Beta #2 11/26 (15dpo/10dp5dt) = 709
    Beta #3 11/29 (18dpo/13dp5dt) = 1,997 ~ Beta #4 12/1 (20dpo/15dp5dt) = 3,403

    I'm sorry for the rough road you've had. We went the DE route when I was about 33 after 2 years of trying and 2 IVF cycles. We travelled from the Midwest to go to SG for their Shared Risk program. We were in the 1:2 Shared Risk but not all inclusive program. We ended up needing 2 cycles for our successful cycle, and the program worked very well for us. We were really pleased with our care.
    I found that when I first looked at the donor profiles I was slightly disappointed but as I watched the database for a short time I realized that new donors get added (and reserved) very quickly so there ended up being a lot of good options and we ended up with a donor who we were very excited about.
    Please let me know if you have any more questions about DE at SG that I might be able to answer.
    TTC with DOR, low morphology, fertilization issues
    IVF#1 Oct 2009 (CCRM) - BFN
    IVF#2 March 2010 - Poor response/cancelled
    DE IVF#1 Aug 2010 - BFN
    DE IVF#2 Dec 2010 - Transferred 1, 2 frozen - BFP!
    TTC#2 FET Jan 2013 - Transferred 1 - BFP!

    No experience with SG I just went to my local clinic but wanted to say welcome and wishing you all the best!

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    I got the DE talk when I was 35 and I know how overwhelming it is.  It took me a year and several more failed attempts before I came to terms with it.  This board is great you will learn a ton!

     IUI #1-#4 BFNs and a few cancelled cycles in the mix.
    - poor responder
    ***Suprise BFP on 6/13/13. Natural MC @6wks 3days
    IVF#1 and 2- Cancelled due to no response on max stimms
    FET 5/20- BFP
    1st Beta- 641
    2nd beta- 2166
    Sono- TWINS!!!!
    Two Boys! Born January 2015 @36 weeks.  Healthy and no NICU!  So blessed!

    sorry about your struggles. 

    I was sort of expecting the DE news esp since i was 41 at the time, but it was still very hard to hear.
