GTKY - Pet Round-Up

Sorry, I just can't bring myself to call them 'fur babies', I am weird like that, a lot of the lingo I just can't get behind :-)  But they are a part of the family!

This is Birdie, she is a 'stafordshire terrier' which is a fancy way to say Pit Bull.  We got her about three weeks ago from the DC Humane society and she is an absolute dream come true.  She is so good, loves to play and to snuggle, hardly ever barks and loves to run with me in the mornings.

Let's see your pups/kittens and hopefully a few fish and some bunnies!

We don't have any pets at home, but my family pet lives close by with my mom and stepdad. Here's Daisy: she's an 11yr old yellow lab. She is such a lover! (She's pictured with Gianna when she was still a squishy baby)

We have a rescue Maltese / Lhasa Apso / something mix named Metro Mo. We got him from the DC Humane Society 4.5 years ago & love him to death. (Will add pic later - mobile & for some reason won't let me add now.)

We have our cat Wrigley and dog Stanley. We found Wrigley just hiding out in my moms garage when he was a teeny baby, 8 years ago. And Stanley we rescued from a shelter in May, he is ten months now. I love them to death!!

Aww love all the fur baby's! I have a Great Dane mix named Brinks hes a year old and a bit of a handful but he just loves the kids. He has to be wherever the baby is at all times

Here are my 2 pups Helo and Luna. I adore them but having dogs with a baby is serious work. They are so jealous of my son and demand extra attention to make up for it!

We have a soon-to-be 4 years old Weimaraner. She's awesomely naughty 99.9% of the time, but also a big snuggle monster and amazingly protective of her family. I don't have any photos of her on my work computer

Here is my new Australian shepherd yellow lab mix puppy, Zephyr. He is 4 months old, we got him 2 months ago from a rescue in Tennessee.

My 14 year old rottie passed away in June- she was very special to me and this new puppy is really helping to ease the pain!

So happy about this post. My Boston Terrier is our baby. His name is Monster and he's 17 lbs. People sometimes think it's odd that we named him that, but we think he looks like a friendly monster--like from Sesame Street or something. We don't know how old he is because he was a stray when we got him (and very aggressive--he went to a lot of behavior therapy and takes meds) but he's so much better now! We've had him since 2011.

We rescued a 1.5 yr old Black Lab mix in December. He's blatantly naughty all of the time. He's precious when he's asleep, otherwise he's tearing up our house.. We couldn't imagine life without him. He's terribly playful, a spaz, and a snugglebug when he wants to be.

My DH tried to use the baby as an excuse to get rid of the cat with the result that i did a whole bunch of research to prove there is nothing wrong with having a house cat. (I don't totally remeber now but I feel like the biggest risk comes from outdoor cats eating animals they catch...)



We have a Norewgian Elkhound and a Boston, and a cat. The Boston is our DDs best friend I would add a pic but it won't let me. Trust me, they're cute lol

This is my baby Boh, the picture was taken last summer but he will be 2 in February and is still as goofy as ever!! (we did not put him in that post, he just sits that like some times on the couch!)

I tried to attatch a pic and my phone got angry We have a 1yr-old tortoise shell cat name Oia (EE-ah; after the city in Santorini we visited), and we breed hedhehogs, so we have eight of those.

This is Boomer. He is a min pin/yellow lab mix. He was a really naughty puppy all the way up until 3 years old now he is mostly prefect. His favorite things are food and cuddling in warm blanket piles (and on the bed when he's lucky).

He doesn't usually wear clothes, this picture wad from his friend's birthday party.

Sorry it's sideways, I have no energy to figure out how to change it!

Ahhh? @McSarah1104‌ ! Birdie looks like my Bella! We just adopted her from a rescue in Tennessee a week and a half ago (like days before I found out I was pregnant). They told us she was a boxer/lab mix, but my vet says pit for sure. Bella is super sweet, a little rambunctious while playing outside, but settles down nicely for a cuddle in the house!

This is Kitten (so original!) and her little brother Winston! The loves of my life. That is of course after my DH and my soon to be 1st human baby.

I've been a doggy Mommy for almost 5 years now. We have two rescued beagle mixes that we love to pieces. I can't wait to give them a little brother or sister to cuddle. Can't upload a photo from my phone for some reason???
