Fall Book Club

Let's pretend that I've slacked on book club because I know September is such a busy time for everyone, with so many moms going back to work and school, as well as the kiddos. And since I've kindly given everyone a bit more time, I know you'll all have had time to think of some great reading suggestions. So let's hear them!

  • Does it have to be a movie?

  • Loading the player...
  • Lincoln Lawyer (Michael Connolly); Along Came a Spider/Kiss the Girls (James Patterson); The Bone Collector (Jeffery Deaver); Hostage (Robert Crais)

All if the above are films too....or if I'm being really lazy, My Sister's Keeper as I've literally just finished reading that :)
  • Does it have to be a movie?
The movie is nice, because if you don't get to read you can still participate. But  since we're a book club democracy I'll say no? If people don't like it, then they just won't vote for it. Does that seem fair?

  • Sorry - thought of a couple more :) The Lord of the Ringsbooks, or The Hobbit, or the George RR Martin books for the Game of Thrones series?

Maybe there should be a movie club.

@rachaelmary I agree it's hard! Especially when you have to lay down with L to get her to nap. I do the same with Reece. What about one chapter a night? Or can you read your book out loud to L? R likes to hear my voice, he doesn't care what I'm saying.

It's true I probably could make the time! My issue is I love tv at night as well so I lay in bed and watch a show for an hour...I should start reading for that instead.

L also only naps 30 minutes at a time. If she did longer ones I could do chores for 30 mins and then read for the rest!

I don't think I could keep her contained to read out loud, lol. She's so busy and climbing on everything and walking along furniture...I need to be right beside her basically all day so she doesn't smoke her head lol
