TTC Before or After Move?

Hi all! I'm new here, but have lurked for awhile. My husband and I were married in June, and we will be moving across the country in September or October 2015. Still not entirely certain where his job will send us, but it's narrowed down to two places. We originally planned to TTC starting this spring. We're uncertain now though...if it happens quickly (a big if, I know) we would be moving to a totally new area and having to make that adjustment while I'm pregnant. I'd also be switching healthcare providers, obviously. And this would be my first pregnancy, so I have no idea how it will go for me. On the other hand, we have always wanted a larger family if we are able and we are both now moving into our later twenties, so we'd really like to get started soon. Another option would be to TTC sooner than we planned, have baby here, then move...but something tells me that would be even more difficult logistically, haha. Thoughts? Would you TTC with a big move looming ahead?

I can't speak personally, but my best friend moved from the east cost to the west coast while 4 months pregnant because her husband got restationed. She scoped out providers and made appts while she was still on the east coast, so she didn't have to worry about it once she got there.  Nothing will every be "perfect" for TTC, things always pop up and you just gotta roll with it IMO. Good luck with your decision!

Thank you all so much for the advice! It's really good to know that other people have done big moves while pregnant/with a new baby and managed to keep their sanity. I have anxiety issues (currently under control with meds and therapy) which makes me nervous about my ability to cope in new situations. So far though, I've made it through school, marriage, etc. without a breakdown, so I know I need to work on being more sure of myself!

We are moving in August/September 2015 and decided to wait to TTC until February so that IF I got pregnant right away we wouldn't be moving at the same time my due date would be.

DH and I are in a similar situation, we plan to move in the spring/early summer at the latest, and initially I had wanted to wait to TTC until after we were in the new house.  DH has been ready for a while, and after talking a lot we settled on TTC no matter where we were because there's no guarantee I'll get pregnant right away... it could take a while, so we could theoretically be in a new house without having wasted time.
