QOTW: What is everyone's child care plans once baby arrives? Do you live in a area that you need to get on a long waiting list to do daycare(if that is your plan)?

Re: Pregnancy check-in (September 22)
I am 17w and feeling pretty good. I am most excited for when I finally start to feel baby move. When did everyone feel there first movements? I have my third cervical check on Wednesday. So far the checks have all been good. Also the midwife that delivered Brynlee put a call in to the director( not sure which director) to get p17 for me as my insurance denied coverage. I need to thank her for this although I overheard the convo so I am not sure if I am susposed to know that I how I finally got the p17 shots. That being said I got my first shot last Wednesday which R seemed to get a lot of joy out of since it is a shot in my a** and the nurses instructions were to bend over and stick my butt out.
QOTW: I would love to be able to go down to part time but this makes R very nervous about how we could financially hand it. My thing is that daycare in the Boston area is so expensive that a good portion of my disposable income would go directly to that so if I am working full time just to pay daycare to me it makes more sense to work part time. R just doesn't seem to see where I am coming from. So right now that plan is for us both to continue to work full time but always have different days off so we only need to find daycare for 3 days a week. The problem with this is that one of the 3 days we will need to find care for is Saturdays and so far it looks like most centers are closed on Saturdays. I also keeps saying we need to start seriously looking because we need to find a center we like and most likely get on a waitlist. There are only 2 centers in the town I work in so I need to put in calls with both of those locations.

We can be added to the listed, due May 1st with a singleton. (I suppose I shouldn't say that, since we haven't had a scan yet...but I'll be shocked if we're having twins!)
DW's pregnancy has been very uneventful, which is a blessing. She has very, very few symptoms this time, far fewer than when she was pregnant with Luke. It makes me a bit anxious, but I'm also happy for her health. (I try not to complain, since so many struggle so much...but those struggles are often the sign of a healthy pregnancy, too). We have her first appointment to hear the heartbeat on Thursday, and after that I will feel much, much better.
QOTD: We heard that our in-home daycare had several babies on the way, so we told the providers right away at 5 weeks pregnant. They indicated that there will be a space for us, so LO will join his/her big brother at least for the first year. I'd really like to see our big guy in a more formal preschool setting for at least a year before kindergarten, so we'll see after that...
@amber&reva thanks for posting! We are so busy sometimes we forget, so certainly feel free to start the check-in whenever the mood strikes!
As for us, we are trucking along. I shocked someone the other day when I told them I was 6 months pregnant.... They said they couldn't tell at all! This made me feel pretty happy! I like staying incognito and if baggy polos are doing their job, then baggy polos I shall continue to wear!
I feel pretty tired and am starting to feel a definite achiness... But I have also been very physically active at my job and getting ready for our move...
The other weirdy weird thing is for years it has felt like I had a piece of lint in my belly button that I couldn't get out... Well as my belly button has gotten shallower, we now realize that was not a piece of lint, as indeed a mole. Hahaha!
QOTD: @firstcomeslove2013 is currently a full time stay at home childcare provider, who also manages the a branch of a small company on the side. The plan is for her to continue this with our little one! So delighted that this will be our path!

Good to see everyone's doing well.
We've made it to 25 weeks and the new little bump finally shows if I'm wearing something fitted. I've had some dizzy moments (likely thanks to the low bp) but otherwise still healthy. A and I are enjoying quality time with baby, now that she is getting more interactive. Just this week, we think we've started to see little flickers on my belly when she's kicking. She's such a cute little cauliflower
I've had some emotional ups and downs recently, as this is the point when my baby sister was born, and I'm still really scared of history repeating itself. Maybe it's just my natural anxieties getting kicked into overdrive by the FTM experience, I don't know....
QOTW: We're debating at the moment whether I should be a SAHM, at least until baby is old enough to qualify for free hours at pre-school (if we don't home school) and then go back to work part time until she is in full time education.
Sarah's feeling...big! Lol. We are working on registries and getting nursery ready. Our crib bedding came in last night. Posting pip below. We love it!
Dr. Appointment with ob next Monday and then mfm growth scan at Duke the next week. Lots of Stretching and rapid pulse randomly. That makes me worried. She thinks one of them might have flipped last night as it was some major movement!
Qotw: I'm gonna stop teaching mid Dec. I get to be a SAHM and couldn't be happier about it!
