Okay, so my infant seat that I used with DS and DD is expired. It was a Peg Perego. I am looking at new ones and leaning towards the Britax B Safe. Any thoughts? Those who have recently had babies - what seat do you have? Thanks!
We used a Graco SnugRide with DD2 because that is the type we had with DD1, so we already had the extra bases and adaptor for the BOB Stroller. I have big babies, do both were switched to convertibles around 6 or 7 months. We liked the seat.
We have the b safe, I like it, but it is heavy. I've honestly only taken it out of the car a handful of times with this baby. If I didn't own it already I would have gone with a convertible.

We had a chicco keyfit with Drew and loved it. Had a graco snugride with the girls and hated it. We looked at the peg and britax seats, but liked the chicco best of anything we saw.
We have the B Safe also, and same as PP, it is kind of heavy. But that is my only complaint since I carry it up 3 flights of stairs daily. It cleans up well and it is easy to adjust the straps as he grows. I actually ended up with the B Safe because I liked the B Agile stroller and it was the infant seat that came with it
We had a Peg, but it was so heavy I sold it and bought a Chicco. They have come out with a new MUCH lighter Peg and had that been out when I bought the new one, I would have bought that.

Do you know if it adapts to the old Peg strollers? If it does, I may go that route so I won't have to get a new stroller.

Not sure what model peg stroller you had, but the chicco fit nicely in my peg aria. It didn't clip in, but was nestled snugly enough that I was comfortable with it.
I absolutely hated my peg infant seat. It expird when DD was 8 weeks old and I was happy to replace it. They have a new peg out that is awesome though if you want to stick with peg.
I've played with 5 or 6 different infant seats and the chicco keyfit is my favorite infant seat too. It's super easy to install and fits tiny babies well. The Britax Bsafe is nice too. They both take up about the same front to back room. Both would be good options. The Peg is a nice seat but might be a little more challenging to install. It has some neat features though
Chico keyfit 22, I like that it's lighter, but she will obviously outgrow it sooner. I wasn't too worried since my babies are tiny. DD1 had the chicokey fit 30 and we also loved it, it's just heavier and I couldn't carry it anymore.
Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!

I wish I had known about the Keyfit 22! DD1 is just barely over 22lbs at 28 months now, and DD2 was quite similar in birth weight so I expect her growth projection to be similar (and they're both little shorties too, so it's not like we'd hit the height restrictions any sooner than normal) - it'd be nicer to have had the lighter of the two seats!
Thanks everyone! I scored a britax b safe and the britax b agile stroller for half price today (all because they didn't have the boxes they came in). I couldn't pass up that deal!! Thanks for the help!
