A dilemma I need advice on

About a week ago a coworker of mine announced she was pregnant, she sounded excited and we were all excited for her, but yesterday at work as soon as she got there she was trying to get somebody to cover her shift, nobody would so last night around 8:30 she said she was having a miscarriage and left, me and another coworker was trying to get ahold of her this morning to see if she was ok but she wouldn't answer but then i saw a selfie that she posted last night about 9:45 of herself smiling and happy. I hope someone would never lie about miscarriage but I'm just not sure if I should confront her about it or let it go. Sorry such a long post it is just bothering me

I would be annoyed by seeing that selfie. Can you wait until you see her next to feel out how she is acting? You can treat her as if you never saw the selfie and hopefully it will play out with the truth (either way).

I work with her tomorrow, I probably won't say anything I do want to make sure she is ok though

I would let it go.

It's possible she thought she was miscarrying, had an u/s and discovered a SCH or another source of the bleeding, thus the happy selfie.

Regardless, I would wait for her to bring this up rather than have some sort of confrontation.

I would not even think of asking. Are you so super close with her that she'd discuss it with you? If not, I'd say it's really none of your business, tbh.

Just bc someone has a miscarriage doesn't mean they aren't allowed to be smiling. You don't know what she is going through or how she is coping. I don't see what the dilemma is at all.
