Is this eczema? *UPDATE*

My husband has it, and so does his sister (hers is TERRIBLE). We haven't tried any new foods or had any bug bites and it's only on her arms and legs with blisters. We have a pedi appt tomorrow. Anyone have an idea? I texted my SIL pics and she's sure that's what this is. But you never know!

UPDATE - So it is HFMD. We had a pedi appt this morning. Thanks for the replies!

I'm not saying that's what it is for sure, but that's what my LO eczema looks like when he has a breakout. We use Hydrolatum cream the second we see it starting and it clears right up. Good luck at the pedi appt.

Thanks for the reply. I'm tempted to get that cream tonight... My SIL swears this is eczema too.

@Soozerella‌ We just started a brand new DC center 2 weeks ago. Went through 3 in home DC providers before that and no skin issues like this. So not that I know of ::off to google::

The blisters look like HFMD and the rash part looks like eczema. She just started a brand new DC facility so maybe she picked it up there, I don't know!

Looks like HFMD to me too. At least if that's what it is, it'll just run its course and it won't be a recurring thing. Good luck and I hope she gets well soon.

My experience with eczema is limited but this does not look like what DS's eczema looks like. DS has more dry red scaley patches.

Thanks for the replies. My old DC lady texted me back and said it looks like HFMD and it's been rampant lately. The more I look at pics of it the more I'm thinking that's what it is. Damn. Again, thanks for the replies ladies

Hand foot and mouth! It's going around here like crazy! Try to look in your LOs throat, if she has blisters in it, I'd say it is for sure!

I feel like MOTY cause I had no idea what this was! You were the first to say what it could be, so yeah you get a prize haha. I thought it was eczema but alas, HFMD. Yikes!
