Trouble TTC second child

Been TTC for 6 months now (yes I know this isn't that long in the whole grand scheme of things). I've been charting and I've noticed a few things, the biggest one being I ovulate "late" in my cycle (CD 21 and 19 of a 30 and 26 day cycle). This makes my LP 7-9 days. When I do get my period it is very light for a few days, and I've had spotting a couple days before AF.
I want to make an apt to discuss with my dr but I know she'll just dismiss it saying I haven't been trying long enough. If there might be a reason I'm having trouble this time around id rather get to the bottom of it now.
Anyone have something similar happen? Advice/things that worked for you

I'd maybe chart one more cycle, and if you have 3 in a row with such short LPs knowing that if an egg fertilized it has literally no chance to implant, please do see your OBGYN or an RE. In the first year of TTC, I had one random 10 day LP that scared me to death, but it never happened again. However, if you regularly get short LPs (the syndrome, an official cause of IF, is anything under 11), then a trip to the doctor is totally warranted. Who would want to continue TTC for another 6 months wondering if they are having losses they would never have known about?? 

This is kind of random advice, but when I had that short LP I looked into it a lot, and it seems that B6 can help lengthen the LP for some women. But I'd still check with the doctor for sure. Good luck!

You're right that 6 months isn't that long. As mentioned above, check out the TTGP board. That is the most appropriate place for you.

A short LP can be a concern, but one or two may not be a concern. I'd keep temping and see if it continues to be short for a few more cycles before contacting my doctor about it.
