Rec a tangle free conditioner for kids

DD has long thick hair which she doesn't want to cut. We are currently washing every other day. I have been using Herbal Essences on her hair, as I found the kid's all in one shampoo/conditioners were not cutting it. As it gets longer it is getting harder to comb through, even with detangling spray. I am willing to pay more if the product is worth it. What do you all use?

I also spent way too long decoding the subject line. Blame some of that on shipyard pumpkin. Can someone point me to the drinking thread? I am lost.

  • I like the Suave stuff. I got it for DS1 when his hair was longer and ended up using it for my long hair. I still use it every night.

I don't have any recs but just wanted to say on mobile the first line of your title says "rec a tangle" and I read it over and over again trying to figure out it you were talking about rectangles.
This is what I came here to say.

  • I'm an adult and I still use Just For Me products. It's the only thing that makes my Hermione hair manageable.
  • We use regular baby wash for their hair (we seem to bounce between Shea Moisture and Honest). Then for Rosie I use OGX Organics Coconut Water conditioner. It's nice and moisturizing, but doesn't weigh down her hair.

  • We used a kids Suave conditioner (seperate conditioner, not a two in one, had a strawberry on it), but lately she just uses a Suave conditioner that I had - think it was a moisturizing almond one.
