Baby Names

Middle names for Juniper

Hi all! We're pretty sure we're going to name baby girl Juniper when she arrives in December. We have a couple of back-up names in case we change our minds when we meet her, but we already call her "Junie" and think of her that way. Now we're trying to come up with a MN. I'd like a name with family significance if possible. What do you think, BNB?

Family names:
Juniper Samantha
Juniper Cynthia
Juniper Elizabeth
Juniper Pauline (This one has a lot of p's - but I love love the woman she'd be named for, so it would be special to me)

Other options:
Juniper Evelyn
Juniper Daphne

  • Juniper Daphne is lovely but I agree with pp that if Pauline is special to you you should use it.

  • I'd go with Juniper Pauline if you really love it, I don't think the P sounds are overwhelming. I also like Juniper Evelyn and Juniper Elizabeth
  • Juniper Pauline is my fave.

  • Thanks for all the advice, everyone! I'm leaning toward Pauline as the MN, with Elizabeth as my second choice. DH says he doesn't care much about the middle name, but I'm not sure if that means I get to choose (yay!) or if he'll suddenly have an opinion between now & when she gets here. Fx it's the former.

  • Another vote for Juniper Pauline...I don't think it has too many P's, in fact I like the sense of alliteration the name has. Go for it!

  • I love juniper! Juniper sage was on my list
  • I would go with Juniper Pauline for sure. It may not sound the best out of all of your options, but it sounds fine and the emotional connection is what sells it for me.
  • I agree with pp's about using the name that means the most, but otherwise, I would use a single syllable name
