This is a check-in for anyone with a loss or EDD in April. Join us and tell us a bit about yourself.  This has been a bitter sweet week for us our lovely check in leader @poppy715 has moved on. She is saving seats for us on PGAL. So now you are all stuck with me . Muhah...ha ha ha. How is everyone doing this week?

I would like to join this check-in if I may. I came over to TTCAL shortly after my MC a month ago, and am amazed by how much it has helped me. My husband and I have been married just over a year and 3 months and started TTC this last May. I just started a new cycle and we are ready to try again. I just got my OPKs in the mail this week so that made me a bit more excited as well

QOTW: I like the short time period between summer heat and winter cold, but it never lasts long enough! I also love cuddling on the couch watching NFL games and napping off our hangover with my DH ... he never does that during any other time of year.. or day of the week actually.

Hi ladies!  It's been a week full of ups and downs but I'm excited for what's to come in the next few weeks.  Work will be crazy as I get ready for vacation but then it will be nice to get away for a week.  As soon as we get back from our vacation, we'll meet with my OB for our test results and to do some of our prep stuff for TTC next month and then we'll burn the bench!

It's still tough to think that we should have a 6 month old at home or that I should be 7 months pregnant with our other angel baby.  I know it never gets easier, we just find new ways to cope.  As much as I love the holidays, it's definitely a tougher time to deal with this stuff as well.

I hope everyone is having a good week.  I'm excited for all of the wonderful pumpkin flavored stuff coming out right now

@sunflwra I'm so sorry for your losses. I hope that the ups this week have outweighed the downs. Glad you have a vacation to look forward to, where are you going? That's great you get to burn the bench, FX for October!!

Thanks @matiekae .  Nothing too crazy for this vacation.  DH's grandma is turning 90, so we are going out to Oregon to see his family and celebrate.  The trip also encompasses our 5th anniversary, so we're going to try to get away from the family for a few days while we're there to visit some wineries and enjoy some down time.  Part of me was really hoping we'd have the green light this cycle since I would be Oing the week of our anniversary, but now I just know that I can enjoy all of the wine and not worry about the pressure of DTD timing and such!

Enjoy the wine and happy anniversary! I'm sure you'll have a much better time w/out the added pressure. Also happy birthday to DH's grandma, 90?! That's fantastic!

Welcome to the April Mommas Check in. I have added you to our list. I am glad you have found comfort here there are so many amazing women here. I wish fall would last a little longer too like maybe during winter.

Hugs for you lady. It can be rough when we reflect. Enjoy your vacation/anniversary your coming to my neck of the woods and summer has been going strong. I have been promised some rain soon though. I woke up wanting pumpkin pancakes...mmm.
